Honoring Armed Forces
Scholarship
At Neuwirth Law Office, LLC, we have a deep respect for members of the armed services and their families. In recognition of those who have devoted themselves to protecting our country, we have opened the Honoring Armed Forces Scholarship, a $1,000 award available to one student per semester in the fall and spring.
This scholarship is open to both current and former military, as well as the children of service members or veterans. We are currently accepting applications until March 29, 2027.

Submitting Your Application
We require all applicants to answer the following prompt in essay format in roughly 500 words:
Essay Prompt
What does military service mean to you? How do you carry those values with you in your chosen field of study or your future career aspirations?
Your essay should be attached as a .docx file to ensure that our judges can easily read your response.
How We Evaluate Responses
All applicants will be judged according to the same criteria, as follows:
- Do you address both parts of the prompt in detail?
- Is your essay clearly organized and focused?
- Is your response original and authentic?
Award Amount
$1000 award to one student per college semester

Before You Apply
If you are interested in applying for the Honoring Armed Forces Scholarship, please review our eligibility criteria below. We will only accept applications from students who meet all of the listed requirements:
- You must be a service member, a military veteran, or the child of a current or former service member.
- You must have a GPA of 3.0 or above.
- You must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an undergraduate or graduate program within the United States for the Spring or Fall 2027 semester.
- You must be at least 17 years old.
- You must be a citizen of the United States.
Your application should also include proof of enrollment at an accredited university (such as an acceptance letter), documentation of your GPA, and proof of military service.
